Reporters Without Borders are greatly irked, and rightly so, with the non-stop state intervention in independent news sites and publications in many countries.
Recently, they have published a list of 15 countries that are also most media-unfriendly. These countries come down heavy on the online media, censoring news sites and other nonconformist voices that deviate from the official policies of the countries.
Though to some extent, the state must exercise its control over media of any sort to keep its sensitive information intact but the State should not censor information which is aimed at mass at large, and which is also good for the community.
Following are the name of few countries from the list:
1. Iran.
2. North Korea.
3. Saudi Arabia.
4. Uzbekistan.
5. Vietnam
