The Chinese Government has reportedly blocked access to Technorati. Like Google, Yahoo, MSN and Skype before, I am sure Technorati will also eat humble pie and provide a compromised solution for Chinese users. The allure of the Chinese market for U.S. businesses is far too much to stand by one’s principles. I remember, when Indian censors suggested some cuts in “Saving Private Ryan“, Spielberg said he would rather not release the film in India at all.



Since there is nothing new that can be said about the Chinese Government, I suggest Chinese users give Technorati a test - via standard link to Technorati, and here via a proxy.
